This Saturday, myself and my buddy Scotty plan on heading in to Manhattan to check out Summer Streets. Basically, it's an event held on three consecutive Saturdays (the upcoming Saturday will be the second of the three) in which roughly seven miles of roads through the heart of Manhattan (mostly Park Ave) are shut off from cars from 7:00AM to 1:00PM. There's all sorts of stuff going on from the Brooklyn Bridge all the way up to East 72nd Street. I'm looking forward to it, and I hope the weather holds up.
