6-23-09: Big Summer o' Soccer

It is shaping up to be a really nice summer for soccer fans in the U.S. We still have the Confederations Cup going strong, with the U.S. playing Spain tomorrow (2:30PM ET on ESPN2) and the tournament final set for Sunday. Next up for the U.S. squad is the CONCACAF Gold Cup in July.

But I'm looking forward to a special treat: the World Football Challenge. They may mostly be in "pre-season" mode, but six big teams are playing here in the U.S., and I'm very tempted to check out the AC Milan vs. Inter Milan matchup in Foxborough on July 26th.
